WAL-MART GRANT: The club was recently awarded a $4000.00 grant by the Hudson Avenue Wal-Mart for use in projects to benefit the community. The check was presented by Manager Harold Youngs to Lion President Al Smith at a recent meeting. Thank you Wal-Mart for your commitment to the Rochester community!

CLEANEST CITY IN THE USA: Work with the City of Rochester to coordinate neighborhood groups and downtown businesses to create a city environment to be proud of.

ANNAUL PEACE POSTER CONTEST: To be expanded to involve all schools on Rochester. The contest will culminate with an award ceremony on United Nations Day in October.
